It is incumbent of all Christians to know why they believe what they believe. Simply to say, “I was taught this way or raised this way,” is not sufficient. Each of us should have knowledge of the scriptures so that we may not only bring others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ but also to help other Christians grow in sanctification. The growing of a Christian is a continuous process that does not stop until we are in heaven. Philippians 1:6 says: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” This process of growing is called sanctification whereby we learn to be more like Jesus. As we climb the stairs of spirituality we grow stronger in Jesus, stronger in our faith…We have Power! Without this power we cannot achieve God’s desire for us because He is not in us. He alone is the Power. Jeremiah 32:27 says: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” God can do anything; however He chooses to work through Christians to accomplish His goals. Proverbs 16:9 says: “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” BBBB's instruction comes through individual study and part from classroom study. However, it is all powered by the Holy Spirit. In a classroom setting learning is facilitated by interaction between the teacher and participants. Further enhancements of learning are promoted by participants interacting one with another. Being a warrior for God necessitates continual growth. Christians cannot stay at a certain level of knowledge without suffering stagnation, resulting in non-service for God.
